On July 3-4, some 30 professionals from across Canada met together to pray and discuss great texts from the Catholic intellectual tradition.

This year's theme was "Renewing Culture." Seminar participants read and discussed texts from Benedict XVI, Gregory the Great, the Russian short story writer Anton Chekov, the American English professor John Senior, John Paul II, and the contemporary political philosopher Patrick Deneen.

Fr Frank Sharma, the Institute's chaplain, served us with beautiful Masses, opportunities for confession, and time for Adoration.

100% of participants said that the seminar "Offered a helpful time of fellowship with other Catholic leaders"; many people named the "soiree" as their favourite part of the weekend; most importantly, 100% of participants said the seminar "will help me be a better leader in renewing Catholic culture in my community."

Thank you to all who made this year's seminar the best yet!
